Karen Temkin


Karen manages the day to day operations and long term planning for the XM Institute. Her expertise cuts across the domains of business strategy, program management, and organizational effectiveness. Karen Temkin has decades of management consulting experience with executive teams, with a focus on diagnosing complex problems with deep organizational implications and delivering programmatic action and results. Early in her career, as Vice President at CSC Index, Karen was a pioneer in building the firm’s groundbreaking reengineering practice. Karen co-founded Temkin Group and ran its operations for eight years. She served as the first treasurer of the CXPA and is certified in positive psychology. Karen has an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Mount Holyoke College and a master’s in management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
